Coined by Vogue’s editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland, Youthquake encompassed the cultural phenomenon that was the 1960’s. As the  spotlight shifted onto young teens that were making a splash in both fashion and music, so did the auspices of society, taking on a  refreshed countenance,  reflected in the bold colors, miniskirts and dramatic makeup that became so indicative of the movement.
