Stitch Factory has partnered up with Frances Harder to introduce “Finding FUNding,” a one-day workshop for groups and individuals who are seeking finances to support their businesses. Attendees will learn what investors are looking for when deciding in which companies to invest. The workshop will be held June 13, 2015 from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
This workshop will include panel presentations from five panelists, including Frances Harder Founder of Fashion Business Inc. & Partner, Apparel Business Consulting, David Mallon Founder/Owner, Elvis Jesus, Ringspun, & Standard Issue brands, Meghan Mossler Founder/Owner Stitch Factory, Will Beam Venture Capital & Private Equity, Downtown Project & PokerFund LLC, and Alex Cotraviwat President/CEO Marendo Group Each panelist will discuss his or her personal success stories as well as experiences and advice regarding funding.
Attendees will have the opportunity to present a 10-minute pitch about their business ideas to the panel for individual feedback. Two companies or individuals will be chosen as “winners” and receive an invitation to FBI’s Lion’s Den, for the opportunity to present to key investors looking for businesses to support.
